|     | Library Case law ? Help | CCPR, CAT, CERD, CEDAW These four databases contain the case law of the United Nations human rights treaty monitoring bodies that provide for an individual complaints procedure. The database CCPR contains the case law of the Human Rights Committee under the Optional Protocol to the Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. The database CAT contains the case law of the Committee Against Torture under article 22 of the Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. The database CERD contains the case law of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination under article 14 of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. The database CEDAW contains the case law of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women under the Optional Protocol to the Covenant on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women. In addition to the inadmissibility decisions and views (opinions), the databases also contain the general comments (general recommendations) adopted by each of the treaty bodies. The databases are composed of two, related, forms. The first one is the so-called Case, which could be seen as an index per case. The Case form provides links to the second form, the so-called Digest, which contains the case-law of the treaty bodies, on a subject-basis. The case-law has been structured, it has not been edited otherwise. ECHR In the database ECHR, the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights are compiled. The records contain a summary of the judgments. These summaries have been taken from the Human Rights News section of the Netherlands Quarterly of Human Rights or from the press releases of the Court. At this moment all judgments from 1960 to present are available in the database. Tribunals
